I liked how you spoke about still being in the dreaming phase. I've been on for 1 day and have 4 subscribers. Honestly it's a space for me to share my experiences with childhood trauma, addiction, and incarceration. Followed by a beautiful recovery story. Inspiration and encouragement to keep pushing and keep reaching milestones. That's what I would be most interested in personally.
First off, Haylee, congratulations on reaching that milestone!
I appreciate what you note here about the more quiet as being equally valid, the thinking, dreaming, sketching ideas, and basically the juice of entrepreneurs! Certainly that part was needed before we had the audacity to launch a stationery shop serving a smaller community in KU yet offering something hard to find anywhere but places like Boulder and so on. After that there was the dreaming about wholesale and the list goes on. Both are definitely needed.
You ask great questions here and I’m sure the answers will be as different as the people who see this writing. For some it us, and include freelancers in that role, it’s more the encouragement to keep going when the unexpected happens totally out of one’s control. I’ve seen far too many smaller businesses lose the motivation when feeling isolated and withering on the vine, so to speak. That’s why I’m a huge advocate of entrepreneurs, business owners and us freelancers having platforms where we can relate to each other, even whilst, yes, our expertise and business offerings vary of course.
Looking forward to seeing where you take this newsletter. Keep it up.💪
Thank you! And if you don’t get enouhh eyes in it, you can always link back to it as it’s a valuable piece other’s would do well to read to. Great start!
